Welcome To the AAAC Website!The Accreditation Assistance Access Centre (AAAC) for Internationally Trained Professionals and Trades People is an Employment Assistance Service, operated by York Region Neighbourhood Services Inc., and and is an Employment Ontario program funded in part by the Government of Canada. AAAC opened in 2003 and by January, 2006 our statistics show that over 2000+ newcomers and unemployed individuals have benefited by visiting our Centre for information and service.We urge you to explore this website and learn how our clients are advised on how to obtain their professional recognition in Canada. This service is offered to all residents of York Region, and is now expanding to encompass the GTA.If you are a professional or trades person, AAAC can assist you with the development of your Accreditation Portfolio and Action Plans.AAAC is pleased to provide service to unemployed Internationally Trained Professionals, Trades People and Newcomers who are working less than an average of 20 hours per week; and who are actively seeking and available to accept full-time employment, or are in receipt of a notice of imminent lay-off, or who must leave their current occupation due to medical reasons.
